FLOWERS ON MY MIND

There was no compelling inspiration for this artwork.  I was taking a break from writing and suddenly thought of painting flowers; hence, this painting.  It's still not quite finished, but I will try to go back to it soon, otherwise I'd lose interest and discard it.  I've done that many times before.

KUMMING ON MY MIND

I was stunned when I saw images of the eroded landscapes of Kumming in Yunnan, China.  This painting is the beginning of my fascination of the place.  I will add more in the future, including an article about this incredible place.

MT. RAINIER ON MY MIND

I lived in Seattle for a while and explored Mt. Rainier several times.  I fell in love with this massive mountain in the Pacific Northwest, and immortalized it in my stories, poems, and paintings.  This is just the latest of the paintings I've executed honoring this majestic mountain.
